Every business requiring expatriate staff in Nigeria must obtain statutory approval permitting it to employ expatriates. The different processes leading to the issuance of these approvals and permits are quite long and most times challenging. At BRENDZ, we are very knowledgeable and conversant with the entire process. Our approach is based on profiling each contact person in the application process and deploying a robust professional relationship, which ultimately facilitates the flow of work and guarantees timely deliverables.
We assist with all the various quota approvals your business may require:
Processing of Residence Permit (e-CERPAC), including all documentation and liaison with the relevant immigration authorities.
This application process allows a regular/renewable EQ position granted for top management positions like MD, GM and other top executive positions to be upgraded to a Permanent Until Reviewed (PUR) status. A PUR position is not subject to the usual bi-annual renewal until 10 years when it expected to be reviewed and revalidated by the authorities.
This process allows a company to reverse PUR EQ position to a regular renewable EQ position within the life span of seven years with effect from the date of downgrade.
EQ position can be requested and granted for the sole purpose of executing a specific project and duration. The Tagged EQ can also be extended for a period not more than one year to enable the expatriates on the position(s) conclude the project, if necessary.
Facilitating the movement of an expatriate from one quota position to another without necessarily leaving the country and returning with a fresh e-CERPAC.
Facilitating the revalidation of an expired resident permit/e-CERPAC, ensuring continuous legal residency status.
Permitting the movement of an expatriate from one employment to another without having to leave the country — a critical service for career transitions.
TWP visas are for expatriates taking up short-term employment in Nigeria. The approval of a TWP Approval Certificate is at the discretion of the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, and we manage this process expertly.
Facilitating the extension of the stay granted to an expatriate who is on a business or tourist visa.
Required for all foreign nationals who intend to stay in Nigeria beyond 90 days. We manage the capture of details, including biometrics, at the relevant NIS offices.
This is required to provide a legal cover for expatriates where an application for EQ renewal is yet to be approved and the position being renewed has expired.
Rendered in a prescribed format on a monthly basis to the relevant offices of the Nigeria Immigration Service, covering all resident and visiting expatriates on a company's platform.
When an expatriate leaves a company's employment, their quota record must be properly removed to free up the position for future use. We handle this process completely.
Assisting visa applicants in obtaining required documentation such as police character reports, certifications, and translation of documents as required by relevant embassies.
Legalisation and authentication of certificates at the relevant ministries, departments, or agencies of government.
The Nigeria Immigration Service requires evidence of expatriate registration with certain professional bodies like COREN, ICAN etc. before green card will be issued to expatriates who are occupying positions regulated by such bodies.
